For motherboards of 12gen Core processors, the application of all fourslots with DDR5 memory modules may see a running at a frequency lowerthan the advertised value. So we recommend you a dual-slot use with DDR5 modules fitted in slot 2 and 4. Update the BIOS to the latest versionto ensure a smooth operation.
AMD Note:
Due to the generally weak memory controllers of AMD platforms, when using high-frequency memory, there will be more instability and lower overclocking potential than the Intel platform.
We recommend using 6000MHZ RAM on the AMD am5 platform to avoid the problem of EXPO not being able to start to the greatest extent.
DDR5 Note:
It is recommended to use only 2 sticks of DDR5 memory. Using four sticks at the same time will result in not reaching the nominal frequency.
The reason why using four memory sticks for DDR5 will result in a lower frequency is mainly due to the characteristics of the CPU memory controller or the motherboard. When one more memory stick is added to each channel, the amplitude of the memory signal will be reduced. Therefore, the frequency allowed by four memory sticks in dual channel will be lower than the frequency allowed by two memory sticks in dual channel.
